Autorack Van Racking Components Explained

StoreTidy Range of Van racking Completely Manufactured in the UK with the best quality materials. The sides of these racking bins are open meaning the units are lighter than our other ranges. Side packs are 1.5mm galvanised steel and each shelf comes with 3 x removable / Movable dividers.

Standard Heavy Duty Range of Van racking The Autorack Standard Heavy Duty range is made from a thicker 1 gauge Zintec Steel and has enclosed sides giving greater strength and durability. These bins are available in "Deep" or "Shallow" versions

Extra Heavy Duty Range of Van racking The Autorack Extra Heavy Duty range is made from a thicker 1.2 gauge steel for an even tougher unit. The shelves have also been increased to 400mm allowing for extra storage capacity and load. The racking bins come with removable dividers (pictured left ) that can be positioned in different locations depending of what you are carrying. Extra dividers can also be purchased for these bins.

Sloped Tool Shelf One of our most popular types of component is the tool / drill case shelf. These galvanised shelves are sloped down at at angle to allow your power tool cases to sit snugly on the shelf with no risk of them coming out of the racking when your vehicle is moving. The shelves also have dividers to stop the cases moving from side to side. Available in standard racking with or our extra heavy duty.

Plastic Bin Shelf Available to fit our Heavy Duty and Extra Heavy Duty range of van racking - This accessory consists of a galvanised steel shelf to contain Plastic Removable Bins. These are ideal for small components and fittings and are especially useful if you require moving parts to where you are working. Available in a 6 bin version (pictured left) to fit our standard range of van racking or a 4 bin, with document holder for the extra heavy duty.

Van Racking Accessories Constantly being designed and developed are our range of Van Racking Accessories. These currently consist of Steel Document Holders and a range of Steel Storage baskets. The document holders come in 2 different sizes, and can be attached to our own Van Racking units or fixed directly to the panels in you van or workshop. Coming soon to the accessory range is the Mastic Holder (Pictured left) This again, bolts perfectly onto the side of our Extra Heavy Duty Racking to carry Sealant Guns, and spare tubes.

 

 

Autorack Standard Heavy-Duty van racking has proved a very popular van storage and shelving solution for tradesmen and general service engineers since it’s launch in 2006. Being only 280mm in depth, it combines excellent storage capacity with compact design thus minimising loss of van floor space.  Our standard system has been the choice of various local authorities and utilities.

In 2009 we launched our range of Extra-Heavy-Duty van racking systems. Designed to meet even greater demands, this system is ideal for users requiring a larger shelf option (400mm depth) and the need to carry and store heavy tools/components. Side packs are manufactured from 1.5mm galvanised steel whilst all trays and bins are from 1.2mm galvanised steel sheet, both exceeding industry standards.

A unique selling feature of both our systems is that they are wholly manufactured from pre-galvanised steel sheet (including the all painted components and trays).
