Refund Policy / Terms & Conditions / Delivery information


DELIVERY INFORMATION:
Autorack products items are normally delivered within 2 working days (please allow an extra day to allow for unforeseen circumstances). Certain areas may be subject to carrier's surcharge, ie. Scottish Highlands and Offshore Islands. In this case we will contact you to confirm costs.
Please Note that some out of stock items may be forwarded to you direct from our suppliers/manufacture who may use an alternative carrier to ourselves. However, the same delivery time periods will still apply. Please feel free to contact us on 01297 816626 if you require greater clarification of delivery arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE - All items will require a signature on delivery. A different delivery address can be used (work address, local garage for example) as long as the billing address matches where the credit card is registered to and the checkout process has been verified.

DUE TO FRAUD PREVENTION ISSUES, DELIVERIES TO 3RD PARTY ADDRESS’ WILL BE SUBJECT TO OUR SECURITY CHECKS.


Damaged Items: All delivered items MUST BE CHECKED FOR ANY SIGNS OF DAMAGE before signing the carriers ticket. The courier drivers are aware that items have to be checked over and should be happy to wait for you to do this. In the event of any damage to your items, you should contact Autorack as soon as possible on 01296 658607.

HIGHLANDS: We are happy to deliver Van Racking and most other items to Highlands and Islands subject to applicable area surcharges. Please call for quote on: 01297 816626 or email info@autorack.co.uk  
Autorack delivery charges are for UK mainland only. Certain post code areas are subject to carriers surcharge (e g Highlands & Islands) - if a surcharge applies we will inform you before dispatch. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DELIVERY CHARGES ON THE WEB SITE DO NOT INCLUDE SURCHARGES.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. We do of course warrant our products to be free of manufacturing defects for 12 months and if required will issue free of charge replacement parts during this period as required.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. There will be a deduction of 10% of the order value  to cover the cost of handling & repackaging.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.



Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Autorack Products Ltd, Unit C2, Woodmead Road, Axminster, Devon. EX13 5PG

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Purchase Security: When buying online, your credit card details will never be seen by Autorack - All payments are processed through Shopify.com System or Paypal.
